class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>It is with great pleasure and honour that I welcome you to the 38<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Academic Sessions of the College of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists of Sri Lanka. This is a major event held by our college annually and contributes in many ways to strengthen the field of anaesthesia, critical care and pain management in Sri Lanka.\u00a0 This provides an invaluable opportunity to all anaesthetists and intensivists to come together to share knowledge, network with leaders in anaesthesia, and importantly to refresh our connections with fellow anaesthetists and intensivists which tend to lag behind due to our busy career. This year too, we have organized an exciting programme with the participation of world leading clinicians and scientist who will share their knowledge and experience with us during the main sessions which will be on a virtual basis on 22<sup>nd<\/sup> and 23<sup>rd<\/sup> January 2022.
