I am delighted to see that the College of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists of Sri Lanka have, once again, put together an impressive programme for their 38^th Annual Academic Congress 2022. My only regret is that I am not able to be there in person to enjoy the meeting and to revisit your beautiful country.

I congratulate the College and the organisers for this endeavour despite the current challenges related to ongoing global pandemic.

It is clear that delegates and speakers will have an outstanding educational experience. The breadth of topics to be discussed and the number of world-recognised experts speaking on those topics is truly amazing. I wish you all every success and a wonderful time during these 3 days of sharing, learning and contemplating.
